PSI Rajasthan was a proud participant in the landmark Red Ribbon Express in Rajasthan. Touted as the largest mass mobilization endeavor on AIDS undertaken anywhere in the world, the Red Ribbon Express was a pioneering effort by the government to create awareness on AIDS across India.
RRE was flagged off from Delhi on 1 December and was in Rajasthan from 2 to 17 December. The state-level flag off took place in Ajmer on 8 December. The launch saw the presence of Honorable Health Minister Shri Aimaduddin Ahmed Khan along with senior government functionaries including Ms Aradhna Johri (Joint Secretary, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare), Mr. Mayank Agarwal (Joint Director-IEC, NACO) and senior district authorities.
