Pritpal Marjara
Pritpal Marjara is the Managing Director of Population Service International in India. Pritpal has over 15 years of diverse professional experience in social marketing, behavior change communication, research and Information Technology. Armed with a Master's degree in Information Technology, Pritpal began his career as IT professional developing software programs. His career in the development sector started at PSI where he managed complex health programs in diverse geographical, social and cultural setting in India. He had progressive responsibilities, culminating the program leadership, within PSI's `Avahan` program with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation which involved the delivery of services in management and treatment of sexually transmitted infections in the areas with high prevalence of HIV.
Vivek Sharma
Vivek Sharma is a researcher to the core; his in-depth understanding of research and drive to meet programmatic objectives ensures research provides evidence to inform strategic and implementation decisions. His expertise include – leading all aspects of qualitative and quantitative research studies, Management Information System (MIS) and capacity building of program leads / implementing partner for evidence-based decision making.

He holds a Ph.D. in Demography from IIPS, Mumbai and has over 17 years of post-qualification experience. He started as a researcher with ORG-MARG Research Ltd. and moved on to join PSI in early 2002 where he worked in Operation Lighthouse and Connect programs till 2009. He rose to the position of Program Director at Abt Associates and returned back to PSI in his current role as Chief Officer, Research & Metrics.

In his free-time, Vivek likes to read; play badminton/ cricket/ football; travel and participate in cultural activities.
Chandrika Vasu
Chandrika Vasu is a qualified Chartered Accountant with over 20 years of post-qualification experience in public and private sectors, as well as non-profit sector. Prior to joining PSI, she headed the South Asia Finance unit at the International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center (CIMMYT) and was Director, Finance and Administration at IntraHealth. Her core strengths include team building, systems strengthening, financial management, budget and grants management.

Being the Chief Financial Officer for PSI India; Chandrika leads finance, administration and also IT functions.
Venugopal Menon
Venugopal Menon provides management oversight to People department, and impact learning and performance. He has three decades of work experience at various levels of Leadership, including a 19 year stint with the pharmaceutical industry. He had joined PSI initially in the capacity of Regional Sales Manager way back in 1998, and moved up the ladder to become the Director, Sales Management and Chief of Party for a National AIDS Control Organization (NACO) Condom Social Marketing project Phase III, Phase IV and Program Income until 2012. He was also associated with project Operation Lighthouse and CONNECT in the capacity of Operations Director and Cost Centre Head at the Core Offices in Mumbai and Bangalore. In 2012, he took a break from PSI and gave a shot at entrepreneurship. PSI again came calling, as in late 2014 he started consulting for PSI. In 2016, Venu resumed full time service at its India office as Chief Officer Learning & Performance.
Sanjay Kumar Pandey
Sanjay Kumar Pandey is adorned with a Doctorate in Economics from IIT- Kanpur. His career span of over 20 years has been diversified in the areas of urban health, reproductive child health, health system strengthening, HIV/AIDS, nutrition, disability, education, natural resource management and livelihood security etc. In his professional journey he has worked with well-known organizations such as Action - Aid, CARE, UNICEF, Population Foundation of India etc.

Sanjay is skilled at strategic planning, program management, conceptualizing new projects, advocacy, and health system strengthening; and donor relationship management. He manages ‘The Challenge Initiative Healthy Cities in India’ of PSI/India as Senior Director, Programs.

He relishes listening to Ghazals in his free time.
Tara Sharma
Tara Sharma brings with her with vast experience and knowledge of the development sector. In her career spanning over 29 years, she has worked with many well-known international non-government organizations including Family Health International (FHI 360); Counterpart International; International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES), the Royal Norwegian Embassy in India, the Institute of Social Studies Trust, UN Women and UNFPA. Tara is well recognised in the development sector for her passion on issues concerning the empowerment of women in India as well as for her contribution as a Gender Specialist serving on National Networks that worked on issues such as Gender Based Violence; Sex Selection; Reproductive, Maternal, New Born, Child and Adolescent Health (RMNCH+A); Engendering Governance and Empowering Women in panchayats. She heads the Wajood Program as Senior Director – Programs, at PSI/India.
George Philips
George Philips is a Public Health Specialist with over two decades of extensive experience of working with a wide range of Public Health Institutions like UNICEF, IntraHealth International, Ecorys International as well as the Public sector institutions like SIFPSA and UP Health Systems Strengthening Project. A demographer by training, George is an alumnus of International Institute for Population Sciences (IIPS), Mumbai, with specialization in reproductive health research. Prior to joining PSI, he served in the capacity of Team Leader for Technical Assistance to the World Bank supported UP Health Systems Strengthening Project, supporting Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt of UP. His core strengths are programme management, organizational development and public sector engagement. An understanding of the functioning of Government / Public Health Sector is his forte. George is heading entire UP State as Technical Advisor – System Strengthening.
Sanjay Singh
Sanjay Singh is a Civil Engineering graduate with Post graduate Diploma in Environmental Education and Diploma in Management. He has been working in water and sanitation space since two decades. He has unique experience of working in country’s first World Bank funded community centric Drinking Water and Sanitation Project as Portfolio Engineer and also the first Central Government sponsored community based drinking water project as Engineer (Drinking Water) subsequent to the World Bank project. He has been associated with the Central Government’s flagship Drinking water Sanitation program since the beginning with state governments of UP and MP in the areas of Drinking Water access, Water Quality, Water safety Planning, Environmental Sanitation and School Sanitation. He has also worked with UN agency for more than 6 years.

He is Director- Programs and leads the WASH initiatives of PSI/India and Operates from Patna, Bihar
Dr. Shikha Srivastava
Dr.Shikha, Deputy Director, Medical Services & Training (MST), PSI India is a Gynecologist with over 20 years of clinical and training experience in the Public sector. Prior to this, she has lead implementation of various clinical training programs. In her current role, she takes ownership of provide high quality clinical inputs in the areas of maternal health, family planning, medical abortion, post-abortion care and STI/RTI. She provides strategic inputs to PSI/India programs for improved health impact, technical support in advocacy and builds partnerships with technical organizations like FOGSI and IMA, academic Institutions, GOI PPIUD training centers, Government representatives, donor agencies and other developmental partners.She is an active member of FOGSI and IMA. She has developed curriculum and manuals for various clinical subjects including sterilization services, infection prevention services, emergency obstetric care, skilled birth attendant trainings etc and participated in various international and national conferences and presented a poster on PPH prevention in International Conference on PPH at Bangkok in 2004 and participated in the Reproductive Health Leadership Training at Washington DC.
Dr Shekhar Waikar
Dr Shekhar Waikar is passionate about his work in the development sector. In his professional journey of over 14 years, he has worked on project management, public private partnerships and engaging private sector in HIV/AIDS, TB and Urban Health areas.

Shekhar is not a new face to PSI; he had a long innings with PSI for approximately eight years from year 2004 to 2012 and worked in various projects like Hewlett family planning project in Rajasthan, Operation Lighthouse and Project Connect based in Mumbai.

He is a post graduate in Public Health and loves traveling, music and cricket. At Present, he is Director, Programs at PSI/India.
Pushpraj Dalal
With more than 17 years of post-qualification experience, a Master’s degree in Social Work and a PGDM in Mass Communication; Pushpraj Dalal gives direction to the Communication Portfolio at PSI/India. He once worked with well-known theatre personality Amir Raza Hussain and Cinevistaas – the famous media house apart from other stints in the Corporate World. It was a chance affair that he landed himself into a Campaign against Child Labour and never looked back as he moved on to work with prestigious NGOs such as HLPPT, UNHCR, APAC-USAID and BBC World Service Trust.

Pushpraj has proven experience in government liaison, bilateral and donor coordination, technical assistance to government at national and state level, policy and program advocacy with stakeholders, media management and leveraging. He has designed and implemented over a dozen national campaigns on HIV, tuberculosis, family planning etc.

His varied interests include - reading, poetry, adventure sports such as paragliding and deep sea diving.
